We know that many of you like to use social media to get in touch with us, whether it’s asking for technical support or product advice, so we have a great team on hand to answer your questions.
Today we’re bringing you a breakdown of the social media channels we are on and the benefits of following us on each:
We’ve been providing technical support via Twitter for over 2 years and it’s a brilliant way to get in touch with us. Our feeds are managed from 9am to Midnight every night of the week so if sending a tweet is your preferred method of communication then we’re ready to help.
We’ve two Twitter accounts. @Fasthosts is our main account which we use to share blog content, answer your general queries, share news, and run offers from. We also have @FHTechTeam which is set up to answer your technical support queries, so if you’ve a question about a support ticket, query about a product feature or want a status update then send the tech team and tweet.
Our Fasthosts Facebook Page is the home of our social content. Join us on Facebook to discover the latest blog updates, webinar events, exclusive offers, ask us a question, and get technical support. The Facebook page is managed from 9am to 6pm each day and whilst we’re always happy to help with support issues you will get a quicker response from the @FHTechTeam on Twitter.
We’ve recently added a Support App that links directly with our ticketing system so you can access our huge library of knowledge base articles and create/edit a support ticket directly from Facebook!
Google+ is a relative newcomer to the social networking industry but has some great features. You will find us on Google+ regularly posting tips, articles, infographics and more. One of the most exciting features is Google+ On Air which allows us to broadcast live to Google+ users. Check out our Webinar Microsite to discover what great shows we have coming up.
