Working better online – advice, hints and tips coming soon

Are you as productive at work as you’d like to be? The scenarios are all too typical. You’ve worked hard to ensure your diary is clear for the day, giving you the time to complete that all important document. You get to work a little early and after 30 minutes of arriving your inbox is suddenly full of meeting requests, a dozen emails marked urgent, additional unexpected work… and to top it off, the coffee machine has packed up.

We’d all like to be more efficient and get more achieved in a day. But how do we make that happen?

One thing’s for sure, it’s not an exact science, but a combination of working practices, tools and technologies that can give us the time to have those ‘eureka’ moments to help drive the business forward.

Over the next few weeks we’ll share lots of advice, hints and tips from thought leaders, likeminded business owners,  and some of the UK’s leading business people. We’ll be highlighting the latest tools, technology and software from around the internet that will help us all remain focussed on those crucial tasks. On the blog we’ll be covering topics such as time management, workspace design, meetings, office dynamics, productivity, communication, motivation and much more. We’ll also be asking you to share your experiences and suggestions with your peers.

On that note, we’re keen to find out what your top tips are for working better online and your experience with the technologies currently available. Below are a few questions that we’d really appreciate your feedback on.

  • How have you used cloud computing to help you work better online?
  • What are your top tips on using online technology to improve your work/life balance?
  • Do you have a specific story on how you’ve implemented online technology and how this has helped you work better online?

Let us know your thoughts either in the comment section below or via email at blog@fasthosts.com. We’d love to hear from you.
