Don’t Let Your Reviews Go Unheard
Today we’re pleased to announce the launch of the Fasthosts Review Site. While a number of our competitors run similar sites none of them offer a true forum that allows both positive and negative comments or gives the company the chance to respond in an open, honest and transparent way.
If you’re like me you’ll no doubt spend time comparing different companies when researching your next purchase, particularly one that is crucial to your business such as a dedicated or virtual server. The problem is I often find myself on review sites that give a very unbalanced view of a company. When negative comments are made they are quickly sucked up into the vast chasm of the internet forever destined to go unacknowledged by the offending company and you’re never sure whether the review was made by a forum spam bot or a competitor of the brand. You rarely see the company’s response and so having wasted 20 minutes you are left no clearer on whether the product or service is worth spending your hard earned cash on.
So we have created the Fasthosts Review Site to give you a platform to share your Fasthosts experience and allow us to respond to you. We love to hear your feedback, good and bad, so we can identify what experiences you are having with our services and products and where necessary try our best to make the improvements you are looking for.
While we appreciate people why people might want to leave anonymous feedback we need your help in fixing the remaining problems that we have. We understand that we need to be completely open about where these problems are and what we’re doing to fix them and through the new Fasthosts Review Site we hope to achieve this.
We’ve loaded the site with a very small number of reviews to get started. These are by no means there to be representative they are just there so the site isn’t empty of content on day one.
We’d love you to take the time to go and write a review of your Fasthosts services. All Fasthosts reviews will be posted provided the comment does not include abusive language and is not asking for direct support. If you do need support then check out our revamped Support Site.
One last thing; our campaign over the next few months is all about Working Better Online, so we’d love your tips on how your business is Working Better Online. Are you using location based tools like Foursquare? Or maybe Groupon? Share your tips in a comment below and at the end of the month we’ll pick the best of them to share via this blog.
