Fasthosts Win Microsoft’s Hyper-V Cloud Partner Awards!
The award win is in recognition of Fasthosts’ success in launching a white-label service that enables channel participation in the Cloud. Fasthosts was singled out as the partner who has achieved the most in delivering white-label partner hosted services to the Channel and Reseller communities, and notably, was the only UK partner to be recognised at the awards.
“Built on Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 Hyper-V™ and Microsoft System Center, Microsoft Dynamic Data Center ensures your virtual private server will be continually monitored and optimised to ensure your core applications achieve maximum performance at all times and any issues are dealt with rapidly”
Austen Mulinder, corporate vice president of the communications sector at Microsoft commented: “This award helps illustrate the achievements of our hosting provider partners who continue to deliver quality cloud services to their customers using Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V and System Center. These companies are prepared to be the leaders in this new era of cloud computing”.
The aim of the awards is to recognise the accomplishments of Microsoft’s hosting partners. As a winner of the Microsoft Hyper-V Award, Fasthosts will be positioned as the partner of choice when it comes to helping businesses move to the cloud.
Andy Burton, CEO of Fasthosts, accepted the award on behalf of Fasthosts and Rise, the trading brand of Fasthosts’ white-label business for which the award was in recognition.
“The availability of our Data Centre on Demand platform for both Fasthosts and Rise has set a sound benchmark in the industry that we can now leverage further. This latest accolade validates to our existing and prospective partners that we truly do operate on a world-class basis in the delivery of cloud services.
This recognition is a pleasing step forward in our move toward being the IaaS provider-of-choice for partners and end users alike. Moreover, it is a well earned award off-the-back of a great team effort in designing, implementing, productising, marketing and selling cloud based VPS,” concluded Burton.
